Stronghold Crusader Extreme (SHCE) is an re-release of Stronghold Crusader, released in June 2008. Not much has changed gameplay-wise, but the sprite limit has been increased to a mighty 10000 troops/peasants. There is also the addition of two new buildings and special 'Powers'. All adversaries and missions from the Warchest edition of Stronghold Crusader have been implemented in the game.
The power bar replenishes over time and contains an ascending series of buttons to press. These, starting from the lowest are:
- Arrow volley
- Heal troops
- Summon small group of spearmen
- Summon small group of engineers
- Get 2000 gold
- Summon small group of knights
- Rock volley
Using a power diminishes the bar, the extent on this depending on the level of the power in the list.
Stronghold Crusader Extreme is usually much more difficult if you do not use the powers, so not using them at all is a good idea if you want a challenge.

3. Remove the check mark as shown in the picture below
4. Then Click on grey DOWNLOAD button
INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS
1. Extract file with WinRAR
2. Open the folder "Stronghold Crusader Extreme"
3. Run "setup.bat" file
4. Wait for a few minutes to completely install the game
5. Play and Enjoy
